Terms, privacy, refunds, and support expectations.

ConnectEDD is a service of PLAYA LABS LLC, which owns and operates the ConnectEDD service. ConnectEDD runs paid California Paid Family Leave call jobs. Each job is $9.99 USD and begins after checkout is complete. Last updated June 14, 2026.

Terms of Service

What you are buying

ConnectEDD provides call help for California Paid Family Leave. The service attempts to reach the California PFL phone system, track call progress, and help connect the customer when the call reaches a useful point.

ConnectEDD is a service of PLAYA LABS LLC, which owns and operates the ConnectEDD service.

Independent service. Not affiliated with EDD, the State of California, or any government agency. We are not a law firm, benefits administrator, claims processor, or government representative.

No benefit guarantee. Using ConnectEDD does not guarantee that EDD will answer, return a call, process a claim, approve a claim, change a claim status, issue payment, or provide any particular benefit outcome.

Customer authorization. By creating a job, you confirm that you are the person connected to the California PFL matter, or that you have permission from that person to request call help. You authorize ConnectEDD to use the callback number and job details you provide to run the requested call automation.

Customer responsibility. You are responsible for the accuracy of the callback number and any details you submit, for being reachable when a connection is possible, and for making your own decisions about claims, deadlines, documents, appeals, eligibility, and benefits.

Privacy Policy

The basics we store

We keep the everyday account information needed to run the service: your email and your callback phone number. Your phone number is stored so we can make sure California PFL has the correct number to call you back and so support can help if something goes wrong.

Your callback number is masked in customer-facing screens where possible. Operational systems may still need access to the full number to place calls, troubleshoot failures, prevent misuse, and support the customer.

Payment is handled securely through Stripe. ConnectEDD keeps the payment records needed for checkout, refunds, account support, and dispute handling. We do not store full card numbers.

Charges may appear as PLAYA LABS LLC or ConnectEDD on your card statement.

We do not sell your information or share it for marketing. Call providers, payment processors, hosting providers, analytics, and support tools may process information for us only when needed to deliver and support the service.

Customers may request help accessing, correcting, or deleting account information by emailing [email protected]. Some records may be retained when needed for security, fraud prevention, payment records, legal compliance, dispute handling, or service integrity.

Refund Policy

Failed jobs and refund review

Each CA PFL call job is $9.99 and is charged before the job is activated. A charge covers one submitted call job, the related updates, and support review.

If a job fails because of a ConnectEDD system problem, an incorrect internal call mapping, or another issue within our control, contact support and we will review the job for a retry, correction, or refund.

A job may be considered completed or non-refundable when the service made the expected call attempts, reached the provided callback flow, connected or attempted to connect as designed, or could not proceed because of customer-provided information, customer availability, phone carrier issues, EDD phone system behavior, or other circumstances outside our control.

Refund requests should be sent to [email protected] with the account email and job details. Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method when possible.

Support Policy

What support can and cannot do

Support is available by email at [email protected]. Support can review job status, explain visible timeline events, check failed-job handling, help with billing questions, and point out what the service attempted.

Support cannot guarantee EDD availability, move a customer ahead in any government queue, provide legal or benefits advice, submit claim materials, change claim details, or promise any claim or payment result.

We aim to respond to support messages within two business days. Complex payment, phone carrier, or EDD phone-system issues may require additional investigation.

Support is focused on California PFL calls. SDI call help is coming soon and should not be treated as live until it appears in the app.
